An MA in Interdisciplinary Studies offers students the chance to engage in self-directed, cutting-edge research that connects across three academic fields.
Participants in this program collaborate with three faculty members from distinct disciplines relevant to their research focus, joining an elite cohort of accomplished peers with diverse academic backgrounds.

Students can design their own investigative project, selecting analytical approaches from an exciting array of interdisciplinary fields that span arts, sciences, healthcare, social sciences, engineering, humanities, legal studies and beyond.

The program culminates in a substantial thesis (around 120 pages) and oral defense after 2 years of full-time or 3 years of part-time study. Many candidates choose to complement their written work with creative elements such as novels, digital publications, art installations, photographic series, films, mobile applications, and other innovative formats - possibilities to explore with the program director.
