Occupational Science is a multidisciplinary area of study examining human activities in daily life and their connections to health, equity, and environmental sustainability. This field generates valuable knowledge that drives societal transformation and influences daily experiences. Our fully online Master of Science in Occupational Science equips learners to pursue groundbreaking research and apply analytical frameworks to understand human occupations. The curriculum integrates knowledge from various academic fields while allowing students to either complete a research thesis or a culminating project focused on occupations within social and ecological systems. Qualification Requirements

Admission to the degree program is open to candidates who have completed a four year baccalaureate degree in a field which can be related to the interdisciplinary field of Occupational Science. Candidates must have a GPA = 3.0 or greater; on a 4.3 scale, calculated on the last 20 half credits of the degree and must satisfy the general requirements for admission to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate a combination of academic excellence, leadership experiences and the ability to work independently, referee recommendation, and scholarly interests that articulate a fit with the interdisciplinary field of occupational science. These will be assessed through review of the student’s letter of intent, CV and referee comments. Student success in our program is enhanced by:
