The Social and Personality Area faculty and students conduct foundational research across multiple domains: attribution theory, stereotyping, interpersonal relationships, social cognition, emotional processes, personality characteristics, psychology in legal contexts, cultural influences, reconciliation dynamics, apology mechanisms, and collective behavior. Beyond theoretical investigations, applied research focuses on: workplace interactions, juror psychology, human sexuality, social competence development, and prejudice studies. Alongside academic coursework, the program offers hands-on training through research initiatives and practical experiences both on campus and in external environments.
