The Schulich Diploma in Intermediate Accounting (DIAc) is an eight-month postgraduate program that establishes core competencies for professional accounting careers in Canada. Participants develop comprehensive knowledge of financial and managerial accounting principles while expanding their expertise across various accounting specialties.

Graduates qualify for direct entry into the second term of the Master of Accounting (MAcc) program if desired, preparing them to take the Common Final Examination (CFE) upon completing their studies.

Qualification Requirements

A four year undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work,
OR a three-year degree from an Indian institution with a National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) rating of at least an A, and who have achieved a first-class rating (60% and above) overall in their bachelor's degree,
OR students with a three-year non-Canadian degree (except degrees from India) are required to have their degree assessed by the World Education Services (WES) (to be the equivalent of a four-year degree in Canada).
