The Accounting program explores the elements that shape the creation, delivery, quality, application, and effects of both financial and non-financial data on diverse stakeholders such as investors, managers, auditors, creditors, and organizations. Typical study topics encompass how capital markets utilize information, auditing and managerial decision-making processes, determinants of information quality and usage, accounting information systems, ethical considerations, performance evaluation, and the contractual applications of accounting data. Prospective students must hold an accounting degree or major to qualify for this program. While not mandatory, prior accounting work experience is highly beneficial.
