Qualification Requirements

A four-year (honours) undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in mathematics or a related field that includes courses in advanced calculus, basic probability and statistics, linear algebra, and differential equations.
A minimum B+ average in your final year of undergraduate study and a cumulative B+ average in all mathematics and statistics courses.
In the application process you must submit transcripts of all postsecondary education, complete or incomplete, a statement of your research interests and a writing sample. In addition, you must arrange for two referees to write letters for you.
TOEFL iBT/TOEFL iBT Home Edition: minimum score of 83, with minimum skill scores of 20 in each of the skills tests (speaking, writing, reading and listening).
Paper-based TOEFL: minimum of 560.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS, IELTS Online): academic minimum score of 6.5 with no band score below 6.0.
