User experience (UX) encompasses all interactions between people and products, services, or environments. By studying human behavior and requirements, designers craft satisfying experiences for all users. UX professionals specialize in optimizing every touchpoint to deliver positive outcomes.
UX designers utilize various techniques to: Collect user data and task requirements; Analyze behavioral patterns; Develop innovative solutions; Refine designs through testing; and Assess performance, functionality, and user satisfaction.
Our comprehensive UX program covers digital applications along with physical products, services, and environments. The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills in psychology, UX research, design thinking, business strategy, prototyping, usability testing, interface development, visual design, and web prototyping.
Begin developing your professional portfolio immediately, working on actual projects with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners. After completing three years, students can pursue an extensive 12-month co-op placement.

English Proficiency
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Internet-based testing (TOEFL iBT): an overall score of 83 or higher with a minimum score of 20 in each component; Paper-based testing: 560 or higher.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - An academic score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL) - 70 overall or higher (each band 60 or higher).
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) - 59 overall or higher.
Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) - Overall score of 176.
