Philosophy examines fundamental questions about knowledge, existence, and reality. Investigate concepts related to morality, ethics, principles, human thought, and social structures. Develop an understanding of how historical, social, political, and cultural influences shape perspectives. Gain valuable practical skills to create meaningful impact, particularly in formulating logical, evidence-based arguments addressing modern challenges.
Our program features both a dedicated Philosophy major and combined degree options with other disciplines. No prior experience in Philosophy is required to enroll.
First-year students explore core philosophical concepts concerning knowledge, reality, values, and society through introductory courses complemented by small-group tutorial sessions.
During second year, students can select from diverse course offerings covering ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophical history, as well as specialized topics like non-Western thought, feminist and gender theories, and environmental philosophy.
