Environmental Studies at Laurier -
Join a cutting-edge, vibrant program constantly evolving to expand our knowledge of the natural world and humanity's role within it. Our faculty members actively research endangered flora and fauna, involve the public in environmental science initiatives, and collaborate with communities and Indigenous peoples to develop improved approaches for land management, regional development, environmental policy, and conservation efforts.
As a Laurier Environmental Studies student, you'll acquire and apply crucial environmental management techniques, investigate innovative concepts in interactive learning settings, and network with like-minded peers and researchers who are equally passionate about preserving our planet.
Students must have the following:

English Proficiency
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Internet-based testing (TOEFL iBT): an overall score of 83 or higher with a minimum score of 20 in each component; Paper-based testing: 560 or higher.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - An academic score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL) - 70 overall or higher (each band 60 or higher).
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) - 59 overall or higher.
Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) - Overall score of 176.
