The Environmental Applied Science Technology program provides scientific education through courses like environmental microbiology, soil studies, air quality analysis, environmental chemistry, management strategies, and site evaluations. Students explore topics including climate shifts, groundwater pollution and movement, ecological effects of contaminants, ecosystem stability, waste handling, and sustainable environmental practices. Apply your environmental passion through fieldwork, conducting sampling in waterways and industrial sites. You'll gather and examine water, earth, and atmospheric specimens, comparing findings with historical data to track ecological conditions. Upon completing the program, graduates can pursue careers as environmental technicians or further their studies via the program's academic transfer options.
Our Mission Statement: We are committed to mentoring, instructing, and preparing students to become environmental guardians through experiential education, scientific investigation, teamwork, and analytical reasoning.
