Our faculty features distinguished scholars recognized for their contributions to Social Inequality, Aging & Health, and Population Studies. Their research spans diverse fields including youth identity, criminology, and labor studies. The department proudly hosts the Centre for Population, Aging and Health and participates in collaborative programs focused on Migration & Ethnic Relations as well as Transitional Justice & Post-Conflict Reconstruction. Additionally, scholars have access to Western's Research Data Centre and a nationally ranked academic library.
