For more than 100 years, Genetics and Biochemistry have formed a dynamic partnership, leading to breakthroughs in molecular biology. Researchers investigating hereditary patterns have collaborated with those examining cellular structures to uncover DNA's architecture, gene expression processes, developmental pathways, evolutionary connections, disease mechanisms, and comprehensive genomic profiles. The Honors Specialization in Genetics and Biochemistry merges these two fields under the joint oversight of the Biology and Biochemistry Departments.
