The expertise gained through this program distinguishes our alumni, who contribute to groundbreaking studies such as detecting gravitational waves and identifying extrasolar planets.
The Physics and Astronomy Department at Western is dedicated to unraveling the universal principles that dictate existence. Our cross-disciplinary work examines interactions between matter, energy, and forces across all scales - from Earthly phenomena to the extreme environments near black holes. We explore both the medical and environmental applications of physics alongside the fundamental physics governing cosmic megastructures.

A minimum average of B grade in 3 distinct A-Levels or 4 distinct AS-Levels. Predicted Results - You must complete the GCE A Level Predicted Results Form.
A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE or IGCSE or Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects.
A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript.
A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24.
