Following Western Engineering's Common First Year, students can join the Mechanical Engineering program. The curriculum builds a solid foundation in key mechanical engineering principles. During the final year, students undertake a significant Mechanical Engineering Design Project, collaborating with professors and industry professionals. This culminating experience allows participants to solve practical design challenges by applying their acquired knowledge and skills.

A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE or IGCSE or Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects.
A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript.
A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24.
The score reports must be official and come to the Admissions Office directly from the College Board or ACT.
