Upon finishing Western Engineering's Common First Year, students can join the Chemical Engineering program. During their third academic year, they'll have the choice between two specializations: General Chemical Engineering or Biochemical and Environmental Engineering. The General option focuses on conventional chemical engineering methods and uses. The program aims to merge core concepts of chemical and biochemical engineering to develop industrial processes and facilities that produce cost-effective, eco-conscious consumer goods. A key highlight of our curriculum is its focus on preventing pollution at its origin through the application of cutting-edge design approaches incorporating physical, chemical, and biological processes.
