Engineering encompasses a wide range of disciplines centered on creating and sustaining technological and industrial systems. Our Faculty of Engineering seeks students with innovative thinking and curiosity to tackle complex challenges spanning environmental, mathematical, ethical, and scientific domains. Our distinguished faculty includes pioneers conducting groundbreaking research on campus. As an engineering student, you'll collaborate directly with professors on coursework and research initiatives.
We're committed to delivering dynamic, practical learning experiences that empower graduates to transform industries. Unique in Canada, we offer a combined Bachelor of Engineering degree and Technology Diploma in four years. Our accelerated College Transfer program allows qualified Engineering Technology graduates to obtain an Engineering degree in just two years. All programs feature optional co-op placements, providing valuable paid field experience. The Faculty comprises five undergraduate departments: Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering.

Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD),
or Completion of Grade 12 and the Secondary School Diploma,
A minimum of 6 Grade 12U or M courses, or equivalent, including program specific prerequisite courses,

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme applicants who achieve their diploma with a total score of at least 24 may be eligible for admission. Three Higher Level subjects must be completed. Prerequisite courses can be presented at either Standard Level or Higher Level. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Some of our competitive programs may require a total score greater than 24.
Successful graduation from an academic secondary school program or equivalent (For most countries, the same academic preparation as is required for university entrance in that country is required for consideration. Refer to Admission Requirements by Country.)
