The Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences recognizes the significance of your personal goals and ambitions, which are as distinctive as each student. Our department provides specialized undergraduate programs (modules) in Actuarial Science, Financial Modeling, and Statistics. Additionally, we're excited to share our new collaborative Data Science programs offered jointly with the Department of Computer Science. In statistical and actuarial sciences along with financial modeling, you'll work with data collection, analysis, and modeling using mathematical and computational systems. We foster strong connections and engagement between students and faculty. You'll find faculty offices, most classrooms, and one of campus's most advanced computing labs on the second floor of the Western Science Centre (also known as Paterson Building). The Actuarial & Statistical Undergraduate Association coordinates academic seminars, study sessions, and networking events.
