This program holds accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC). It equips students with the essential knowledge, skills, and professional values required to join dental teams, delivering comprehensive care and services to patients across all age groups.
Graduates who successfully finish the program receive a certificate. They must then pass a National Board examination. Achieving this, along with their certificate, qualifies them to seek registration and licensure through the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (based on their requirements) or in any other province as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA – Level II).
