The Bachelor of Science Major in Geoscience is a four-year degree program offering students comprehensive training in geosciences, leveraging the knowledge and skills of faculty from VIU's Earth Science and Geography departments. This curriculum covers fundamental geoscience principles including Earth systems science, planetary chronology, hydrologic cycles, biological evolution, resource management, geological hazards, and anthropogenic environmental effects.
