Businesses significantly influence modern society's framework and operations. Technological advancements, resource distribution, economic transformations, evolving consumer trends, international competition, and job market fluctuations all highlight the need for deeper insight into business's purpose and characteristics in our current world.
The BBA delivers a comprehensive business curriculum emphasizing international commerce, developing economies, and digitally-driven enterprises. Learners gain specialized knowledge in a chosen business discipline while acquiring extensive management competencies, analytical thinking, and interpersonal communication abilities. Optional courses offer versatility, innovation, and customization, equipping alumni for various professional paths in international leadership, corporate operations, and business ventures, along with advanced study options.
VIU's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) incorporates elective courses to deepen students' comprehension of the theoretical and practical connections between Social Sciences, Humanities, and Commerce. Participants will cultivate awareness and skills for accomplishing corporate goals within frequently complex and dynamic external conditions. Classroom instruction is enhanced through workshops, investigative assignments, and digital modeling. The program promotes cross-disciplinary studies in Social Sciences and Humanities through elective selections.
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
English 12 with a minimum “C” grade, or equivalent.
One of Principles of Mathematics 12, Applications of Mathematics 12, or Foundations of Mathematics 12 with a minimum “C” grade.
Proof of English Language proficiency is required from any country or citizen where English is not the official or first language.
For students who meet the academic requirements but not the English language requirement, conditional acceptance to VIU may be granted. In this case, admission is granted pending completion of VIU’s English Language Centre program (level AP5 for undergrad and Grad Prep for Graduate programs). Exceptions may apply.
International students who are BC high school graduates must have a minimum grade of “C” in English 12 for direct entry into an academic program.

IELTS 6.5 (with no band under 6.0)

Pearson (PTE) 60 no section below 60
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English with a minimum Cambridge English Score of 176.
Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English with a minimum Cambridge English Score of 176.
