The diploma program offers students comprehensive knowledge of business operations. Through classroom learning, students develop experience and skills to advance into key positions across accounting, marketing, operations, human resources, or general administration. The first year establishes a strong base in fundamental business concepts. Specializations include Accounting, Financial Services, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resources Management, Management, and Marketing. Students may also choose the General Studies track to select electives from diverse fields. Acquire extensive business knowledge and apply classroom learning to careers in accounting, finance, hospitality, tourism, management, HR, and marketing.
You'll engage directly with an organization's most valuable asset—its workforce. As an HR professional, your role will span recruitment, training, compensation, employment law, workplace safety, and strategic planning. Okanagan College's HR degree holds accreditation from Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) BC & Yukon. The program equips you with practical skills applicable to various leadership roles.
B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent.
