The two-year Environmental & Social Change program immerses students in examining humanity's relationship with the environment through innovative research blending natural and social sciences. This distinctive cross-disciplinary approach cultivates the expertise, competencies, and career-ready skills needed to tackle intricate environmental challenges. Featuring tailored academic tracks, the research-driven curriculum presents three graduate degree choices: Master of Science, Master of Arts, and Master of Environment - all integrating human-environment research with practical analytical methods and sustainability strategies for ecosystems, policies, and communities.
Participants concentrate their studies at the intersection of three interconnected disciplines: human geography, natural sciences, and environmental studies. While selecting a specialized degree track, all students engage in training that connects social and natural sciences with humanities scholarship. Program graduates develop the capacity to translate knowledge across fields, enabling scientists to communicate effectively with policymakers and social scientists, and vice versa.
