This program meets the increasing need for science graduates to acquire essential business skills for today's professional landscape. Across Canada, corporations are taking on greater significance in scientific and technological advancement, driving both foundational research and bringing innovative concepts to market. Collaborative efforts among businesses, universities, and government bodies are consequently growing. The life sciences sector, encompassing pharmaceutical firms developing specialized medications to environmental remediation experts, represents a particularly expanding private sector. Additionally, science students aiming for professional programs (Medicine, Dentistry, etc.) will find value in this degree track, as they'll likely manage private practices requiring business acumen.

Undergraduates enrolled in 3-year, 4-year, or Honours BSc programs across any discipline can enroll in the Business Stream—a curated selection of core business courses through the Faculty of Business and Economics. This pathway equips them with vital competencies for thriving in corporate environments. Upon fulfilling both their BSc degree requirements and the specified business curriculum, students will receive official recognition on their academic transcripts for completing a BSc with Business Stream specialization.
