Biology explores all forms of life, ranging from DNA molecules to how organisms interact within Earth's diverse ecosystems. This expansive field covers specialties like Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Ecology, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. The Biology Department provides three degree options: a 3-Year BSc, 4-Year BSc, and BSc Honours. Those enrolled in the 3-year or 4-year BSc programs can opt for a Business Stream—a selection of essential business courses designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills. Biology courses also form the foundation for programs in Environmental Studies Forest Ecology, Forest Policy and Management, and Biochemistry.
