From corporate settings to everyday workplaces, studying economics creates meaningful impact. This field offers insights into economic systems, human motivations, and decision-making processes across governments and organizations.
An economics education goes beyond market mechanics, equipping you with analytical tools to examine political systems, legal frameworks, historical trends, environmental issues, development strategies, and resource management. In our interconnected world, employer needs evolve rapidly, and local challenges now carry global implications.
The University of Winnipeg's Economics program prepares students for tomorrow's demands, developing adaptable competencies for professional growth. Learners can pursue an Economics Major through three pathways: the 3-Year BA, 4-Year BA, or BA Honours program. Those enrolled in other undergraduate majors can complement their studies with an Economics Minor as a supplementary focus area.
You are a current high school student studying at a school in another Canadian province, and expect to graduate from grade 12 (or equivalent).
