Established in 2018 by Dr. Eunsik Kim, the Occupational Safety and Ergonomics (OSE) lab focuses on research across multiple domains including human factors, ergonomics, biomechanics, human-machine interaction, hand tool development, and gamification techniques. Its core mission is to enhance workplace safety and employee well-being through optimized environmental design.

Beyond offering comprehensive ergonomic assessments to identify risks and recommend corrective measures, the OSE lab pioneers innovative gamified systems. These solutions encourage active employee participation in hazard management, complementing traditional ergonomic training programs to more effectively control and prevent workplace injuries.
