The University of Waterloo's Department of Geography and Environmental Management ranks among the world's top 100 Geography programs and holds 5th place nationally in Canada. With 35 faculty members specializing in diverse areas of human geography, physical geography, geomatics, and aviation, we maintain strong academic excellence. At the graduate level, we partner with Wilfrid Laurier University's Geography and Environmental Studies department, forming the collaborative "Waterloo-Laurier Graduate Program in Geography," which pools resources from both leading institutions.
