The Master's in Computational Mathematics (MMATH) is a rigorous one-year research program that builds expertise in both theoretical and applied aspects of computational mathematics. Designed for graduates holding a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative fields (such as economics, engineering, or physical sciences), this program serves as an accelerated pathway to doctoral studies or high-level industry positions. A key strength of this program lies in its comprehensive curriculum. Students select four core courses spanning essential computational mathematics domains: discrete mathematics, numerical analysis, computational statistics and machine learning, scientific computation, and optimization techniques. Additionally, participants choose two elective courses from an extensive selection of graduate offerings across the Faculty of Mathematics' departments.
