The Master's in Mathematics (MMATH) specializing in Computational Mathematics is a rigorous one-year research program that equips students with fundamental knowledge in both theoretical and applied aspects of Computational Mathematics. Designed for graduates holding a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative fields (such as economics, engineering, or physical sciences), this program serves as an accelerated pathway to doctoral studies or high-level industry positions. A key strength of this Computational Mathematics Master's program lies in its comprehensive curriculum. Students select four core courses spanning essential Computational Mathematics domains: Discrete computational mathematics, Numerical analysis, Computational statistics and machine learning, Scientific computation, and Computational optimization. Additionally, two elective courses can be chosen from an extensive selection of graduate-level offerings across the Faculty of Mathematics' departments and schools.
