The Master of Arts in Literary Studies (MA-LIT) program offers students flexibility in completing their degree through coursework alone or by combining coursework with a significant project or thesis. Our curriculum explores both historical and modern aspects of British, American, Canadian, and postcolonial English-language literatures, along with their corresponding theoretical frameworks. Graduates of the MA-LIT program pursue careers across diverse sectors including publishing, corporate environments, government agencies, educational institutions, NGOs, and entrepreneurial ventures, while some continue to PhD programs. The co-op option enables students to acquire practical experience while earning income to support their education. All English MA degrees can be pursued through the co-op pathway. Choose the study format that aligns with your goals - traditional or co-op.
