Additionally, we provide French language enhancement courses for all proficiency levels. Comprehensive course listings and program details can be found on our website. Our 4-year Doctorate in French Studies program focuses on three key research areas addressing contemporary challenges in French studies: digital archiving and electronic publishing, Ancien Régime literature and theory, and Francophone cultural/literary studies (19th-21st centuries).

This distinctive research domain encompasses manuscript transcription, digital editing, hypertext analysis, investigations into digital media's influence on Francophone literatures and cultures, historical studies of books and e-books, among other topics. It also incorporates multimedia applications for teaching Francophone literatures and cultures, along with archival studies involving personal correspondence and private collections.
