The General Science program spans three years. Students often transfer into this program to accelerate their graduation timeline, whether due to job offers, admissions to professional or graduate schools, or personal circumstances requiring earlier degree completion. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. If you're completing high school and preparing for university this Fall, this program isn't designed for you. University applications are processed via the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). Note that General Science isn't an entry-level program or major option through OUAC. Consider exploring Honours Science, our most adaptable program, or one of the 16 other science programs available. We highly recommend researching which option aligns best with your goals. For inquiries, contact the Science Recruitment Coordinator. If you've extended your high school studies and aim to begin in Winter or Spring, we advise waiting for the Fall intake. General Science operates on a regular schedule, with co-op placements typically unavailable. Course availability is structured around September starts, which may create prerequisite challenges for alternate entry times.
