Often referred to as liberal arts degrees elsewhere, Liberal Studies enables you to delve into various disciplines across humanities, social sciences, languages and cultures, and creative arts – along with electives from Waterloo's other faculties. You can specialize your degree with one or more minors, or maintain a broad, general approach. (If you develop a deep passion for a particular field, you can transition to a major at any stage.)
