Explore the foundations of Western culture and develop a profound appreciation for ancient Greek and Roman civilizations — societies whose influence still permeates modern thought and institutions.

Engage with timeless concepts from legendary thinkers including Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Acquire sufficient ancient Greek and Latin proficiency to examine original classical works. Investigate diverse aspects of the ancient world: spanning history, religion, philosophy, as well as artistic, scientific, and technological advancements.

Additionally, you'll have ample opportunity to complement your studies with interdisciplinary courses and gain practical experience through co-op placements. The program's emphasis on critical thinking prepares graduates for diverse career paths such as law, public policy, cultural sectors, education, and beyond.
Students can pursue an Honours Classical Studies degree in combination with Arts and Business.
