Our performance program combines practical training with immersive learning in a team-oriented setting. You'll get tailored instruction and performance-focused opportunities in solo, chamber, and large ensemble formats. The curriculum includes seminar courses covering music theory, historical context, and stylistic interpretation. This program acts as both a springboard for musical careers (such as establishing private teaching practices, pursuing professional auditions, and securing engagements with orchestras or ensembles) and an academic foundation for advanced research at the DMA/PhD level.

Qualification Requirements

Admission to the program is dependent on admission to the university AND successful completion of the audition process.
Repertoire requirements for each instrument are listed below.
Video auditions
Submit a high-quality video recording of your audition selections, preferably recorded by a professional technician.
Recordings must be unedited and completed within the past six months with no post-production techniques applied.
4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution
Equivalent of a minimum B average over the last two years of your degree
English Language Proficiency Requirement: minimum IELTS 6.5 (no sub score below 6.0) / TOEFL minimum 90 (no section less than 20) or equivalent
