Our MEng program deepens your expertise in electrical and computer engineering through non-thesis coursework. You'll join an international community of over 60 MEng students worldwide. The program involves completing advanced courses and a capstone project guided by faculty, culminating in an oral defense. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering currently hosts more than 60 MEng students from diverse global backgrounds.

Qualification Requirements

Meet the minimum admission requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies,
Have completed a bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields from an academic institution recognized by the University of Victoria,
Meet the English language requirements,
Have a minimum GPA of 5.0/9.0 (B grade) on UVic's scale, or 73-76% range.
English Language Proficiency Requirement: minimum IELTS 6.5 (no subscore below 6.0) / TOEFL minimum 90 (no section less than 20) or equivalent
