The Regional Studies concentration examines the forces and beliefs that reshape societies. You'll analyze globalization and modernization alongside indigenous traditions, investigating connections between worldwide and community-level dynamics. Field specialists will mentor you as you examine the cultural, social, political, economic or historical aspects of Asia Pacific regions.
The Literary and Textual Studies concentration investigates storytelling's global influence. Discover how narratives play vital roles in maintaining, questioning, and transforming social structures and customs. Your studies may encompass literary works, performing arts, film, linguistic studies, religious texts, historical accounts, or philosophical writings.
