Our program guides students through core creative writing disciplines like fiction, poetry, nonfiction, screenplays, and theater scripts, alongside a specialized Journalism and Publishing minor. Explore emerging areas including children's literature, travel narratives, digital storytelling, graphic novels, and other focused subjects.
Through the Writing Department's Major Program, you'll refine your abilities in poetic, fictional, nonfiction, screenplay, and playwriting formats. This major culminates in either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, determined by your elective course selections.
