The Master of Science in Sustainability Management (MScSM) program equips graduates to transcend conventional academic boundaries, combining insights from management, social sciences, and natural sciences to tackle sustainability challenges and drive meaningful progress in the field. Distinct from other graduate programs in science and management, it offers comprehensive training in sustainability management alongside specialized tracks in either management or science disciplines. Tailored for students with varied academic backgrounds—including management science, social science, natural science, and engineering—the curriculum was shaped through collaboration with industry leaders, nonprofits, research institutions, and government agencies. This program is ideal for those aspiring to leadership roles in sustainability-focused sectors. The MScSM is a 20-month, full-time, course-based professional master's program (not a research thesis degree), featuring 11 core courses, 5 electives, and a 10- to 16-week summer internship between academic years. The program spans five semesters (four academic terms and one work term).
