Take the next step toward securing your future by enrolling in the MPK program. This graduate-level, course-based curriculum focuses on professional kinesiology practice. Designed as an intensive 16-month full-time program, it combines classroom instruction, case studies, lab work, and hands-on training. Students will develop evidence-based, interdisciplinary competencies in:
Movement analysis and therapeutic approaches across various specialties
Research integration, interpretation, and practical implementation
Assessing clinical and program outcomes
Interdisciplinary healthcare team collaboration

The MPK curriculum features exceptional training facilities for practical experience, partnering with top professionals throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
Students gain clinical exposure through partnerships with hospitals, treatment centers, athletic facilities, and community programs. These practical components are carefully designed based on experiential education principles.
Applicants must have a four-year bachelor's degree in kinesiology, physical education, human kinetics, or a complementary degree in health science, life science, and/or movement/rehabilitation science. In order to be eligible for admission with a complementary degree, practical experience in the area of kinesiology is required.
Applicants may also be considered for admission with a four-year bachelor’s degree in an area not described above, with at least 5 years of work experience in the area of kinesiology, and evidence of professional training or certification in the area of kinesiology (for example, strength and conditioning certification, physical literacy certification).
Regardless of the admission pathway, all applicants must have a minimum mid-B average (73% to 76%) in the final year.
English language requirements
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Required score: 7.0 (Academic) with at least 6.5 for each component.
Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT) Including Writing and Speaking Sections: Overall score: 93; Writing: 22; Speaking: 22
Academic English Level 60: Required score: B
Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Online: Required score: 70 minimum total with at least 60 in each part.
The Certificate of Proficiency in English (COPE): Required score: 76 minimum total with at least 22 in each component and 32 in writing
Cambridge Assessment English: Required score: minimum 185 overall with at least 176 in each component.
