A comprehensive method for examining sports, physical activities, and health enables both students and faculty to exchange research insights and professional knowledge while advancing the wider discipline of human kinetics.
The Master's program focuses on three primary goals:
To enhance the collection of scientific evidence and data concerning sports, physical activity, and health, while promoting analytical reasoning and solution-oriented capabilities. To support the development of both quantitative and qualitative understanding within the biophysical sciences of sports, physical activity, and health. To equip human kinetics professionals with the skills needed to make significant contributions within Canadian communities.
The department is also involved in a joint initiative for Feminist and Gender Studies at the Master's level.
