Our program expands your learning across multiple fields, helping you build a strong foundation in mathematics while examining its connections to other scientific disciplines. This approach equips you with versatile, practical skills. Whether you select our specialist or major track, you can enhance your education with hands-on experience through our co-op program, featuring three paid four-month work terms. The major program is structured to pair with other disciplines, usually another major, allowing you to earn a degree tailored to your aspirations. Meanwhile, the specialist program provides a solid grounding in key mathematical areas, alongside essential computer programming and statistics skills. Customize your education with three specialized pathways, each designed to prepare you for roles as an educator, analyst, actuary, statistician, or software engineer, or for careers in government or law:
Comprehensive pathway: Develop extensive mathematical expertise in this track, ideal for students pursuing graduate studies or diverse career opportunities.
Statistics pathway: Combine core statistical knowledge with a deep grasp of related mathematical fields, preparing you for industry roles or advanced studies in statistics and financial mathematics.
Teaching pathway: Designed for future educators, this pathway focuses on preparing students to teach mathematics at primary or secondary school levels.
