The Cognitive Science Program provides students with an introduction to cognitive science: the multidisciplinary exploration of human and artificial intelligence. Participants develop knowledge about mental processes like perception, language, decision-making, and awareness, while connecting these concepts to neural mechanisms. University College delivers various academic offerings beyond conventional departmental boundaries, featuring UC One alongside specialized programs in Asian Canadian Studies, Canadian Studies, Cognitive Science, Drama, Health Studies (including the innovative Public Health Major), and Sexual Diversity Studies, as well as First-Year Foundation Seminars. These College Programs are designed to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration in important fields of research while cultivating academic diversity. Numerous courses within these programs welcome students who aren't formally enrolled in the programs.
