The Ethics, Society, and Law Major Program combines courses from multiple departments and colleges, such as History, Philosophy, Political Science, Religion, Sociology, Woodsworth College, and Trinity College. Immunology Specialist and Major Programs integrate curriculum from Biochemistry, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics departments. The International Relations Program includes courses from History, Political Science, Economics, and Trinity College.
International relations as a field of study traces its roots to ancient times and continues to be among the most dynamic academic disciplines. It seeks to address fundamental questions about the causes of conflict, strategies for peacekeeping, the dynamics of global power structures, and the evolving roles of international actors. Leveraging expertise from History, Economics, and Political Science faculty, the International Relations Specialist Program delivers a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary education. Students gain insights into both historical and modern aspects of global systems while learning analytical approaches from historical, political, and economic perspectives.
