The International Relations program equips students with essential skills and insights to comprehend and engage with today's interconnected global landscape. Those pursuing International Relations will expand their worldview and deepen their grasp of the factors influencing international politics, while exploring both the roots of state conflicts and potential resolutions, alongside other cross-border phenomena that unite or separate nations. This curriculum integrates academic insights from various university disciplines, presenting diverse interpretations of International Relations. Although based in the Political Science department, the program actively promotes coursework in History, Economics, Criminology, and Sociology. Such interdisciplinary study fosters comprehensive understanding, enabling students to examine global relations through multiple frameworks. Learners are urged to take advantage of STU's study abroad and exchange programs, with current options including: Australia, Japan, South Korea, China, Turkey, Sweden, Malta, Spain, France, England, Ireland, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru.
All lectures and seminars are conducted exclusively by faculty members—never teaching assistants—ensuring instruction from field specialists.
