The Department of Leadership, Higher and Adult Education at OISE (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education) provides a Higher Education program. Students can earn Master of Arts (MA), Master of Education (MEd), or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees through this curriculum. The PhD track equips graduates with specialized knowledge and analytical capabilities for professional roles in universities, colleges, government bodies, professional groups, and global institutions as specialists in higher education.
Relevant and acceptable MEd or MA. In individual cases, students with a highly relevant master’s degree or other equivalent graduate degree may be admitted, but additional courses in Higher Education will be required.
