The M.Ss. offers two specialized tracks:

Energy Security: This concentration equips northern communities, Indigenous leaders, remote professionals, and career changers through online learning and hands-on training to spearhead sustainable local energy initiatives.
Regenerative Sustainability: This track prepares graduates to drive meaningful systemic transformations by applying cutting-edge sustainability principles to social-ecological challenges.
Participants learn to approach environmental and sustainability issues through an interdisciplinary lens, tackling problems with regional to global implications. The curriculum provides distinctive environmental education and research opportunities, cultivating analytical thinkers ready to confront urgent sustainability and climate-related challenges.
