The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences offers education, research initiatives, and specialized knowledge in veterinary care for small animals, covering areas such as medical treatment, surgical procedures, reproductive health, and specialized fields like eye care, cancer treatment, dental care, and medicine for exotic and wild animals.

Our department maintains a robust research initiative focused on both domestic pets and wildlife. Research areas encompass canine eye disorders, advanced imaging techniques, exercise-related conditions in Labrador Retrievers, autoimmune diseases, bone and joint surgeries, pain management, surgical interventions for soft tissues, and dietary studies.
