The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition provides Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs specializing in pharmaceutical sciences, along with advanced clinical and community practice. Our graduate students enjoy the unique chance to generate innovative research, push the boundaries of pharmaceutical science, and drive healthcare improvements at local, national, and global levels.
Students can choose from diverse specialization options. Faculty expertise spans drug and vaccine development, medicinal chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, nanotechnology, drug metabolism, clinical pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical education, health economics, and medication-related population studies. The college also participates in the Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program.
Prospective students should be aware that clinical pharmacy graduate programs typically require eligibility for Saskatchewan pharmacist licensure.
A Master's degree, or equivalent, from a recognized university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study.
A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the Master's degree.
Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research.
