Chemical engineers—also referred to as process engineers—develop, optimize, and implement technologies that enhance quality of life and safety while reducing environmental impact. The Professional Communication Certificate (Cert.) is an undergraduate-level program designed to equip students with professional communication skills for their careers. This 18-credit unit program includes six courses, all built on rhetorical principles and taught by the College of Engineering's School of Professional Development.
